Nice! The highlight for me is Sebastian. There’s a deeply significant story in my culture about that bird. We use those red feathers in EVERY single ceremony and ritual; it’s a very special and positive omen to have possession of one. So ultimately for me, there’s just no surprise that Mary beat her Uncle. And quite honestly she has the power to do unimaginable things beyond her wildest dreams. Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed immensely 🙏🏾❤️
I'm a bit shocked and intrigued. I have never been interested in romance novels. I made it maybe 70 pages into Fifty Shades of Yuck. I thought, "Is this a man's idea of sex?"
I'll give it a read ladies. Mostly because I have so much respect for all of you. I truly believe I will be excitedly awaiting the next installment.
OMDog and bird. I'm hooked. In college in '73 I read Fear of Flying and most works by Molly's Mom. At one point I worked in a bookshop (one that no longer exists), some women waited for the shop to open when they knew the bodice ripper books were in stock. We think they could smell them on the delivery truck. You all are making my day!!
I proof (listen) to audio books as a side hustle. Maybe this project will cross my path when it goes to audio! Congrats, ladies!! Can't wait to follow this saga!
OK I subscribe to all three of you: "The Italian Lesson" bellisimo my 3 strong woman advocates. I shared to Twitter as "Mary Ejean & Jen Romance Book" my compliments 😊
What I really like about the dynamic duo of E Jean and Mary is their generosity of spirit. Neither women are snarky, competitive or hubris. They both are kind to other women an essential in my book. What did Madeline Albright say “there is a special place in hell for women that don’t lift other women up?” Being a part of E Jean and Mary’s fun journey with their romance novel is going to be a great “joy ride.” Thanks, Gals. And a shout out to Joyce who mentioned them on her stub stack. Joyce is a class act through and through.
I have read all the released chapters of this wonderfully suspenseful novel. I can highly recommend it to anyone who has the patience to wait for each addition to be published. On top of the expert writing, the group that is subscribed to this novel, is an interesting "bunch ", and, one of my favorite extras, is reading and responding to comments. I have found some like minded people who leave very apt and intriguing comments! Waiting for the next addition, with lavender floating in the air !(E.Jean Carroll will understand that comment!)
Thank you, Ms. Jessica! Our zoom together with the dogs, the bird, and the magic black teapots, was a BLAST!!

Haven't received any updates since I paid the $50 membership fee two days ago. Not in Junk file, either. What's the deal?
